By using Facts Over Feelings you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site.

The service

Facts Over Feelings is a free, independent basketball statistics game and information site. Rankings, comparisons, mystery answers, and fantasy scores are for entertainment and education. They are not professional, financial, employment, or betting advice, and they are not official NBA statistics products.

Eligibility

You must be able to form a contract in your jurisdiction. Do not use the contact form or leaderboard to submit personal information about a child under 13.

Accuracy

We try to keep stored statistics and accolades consistent with public sources, but records can be incomplete, delayed, later corrected, or interpreted differently. The service is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not promise that every number, link, ranking, or feature is error-free or always online.

Acceptable use

You may not: interfere with or overload the service; bypass daily-game limits; scrape or automate submissions in a way that harms other users or the host; attempt unauthorized access; submit unlawful, harassing, or sexually exploitative content; impersonate another person; or put personal information (yours or someone else’s) into a public display name.

Leaderboards and messages

Display names and contact messages may be rejected or removed to stop abuse, correct errors, or comply with law. By submitting a display name you grant us a non-exclusive right to show it on the public leaderboard. By submitting a contact message you grant us the right to store it and use it to handle your request.

Advertising

The site may display third-party advertisements, including Google AdSense. Ads are not part of a player comparison. Clicking an ad takes you to a third party we do not control.

Intellectual property

The site’s original writing, layout, code, formula, rankings, and game presentation are owned by the operator or used under license. Basketball player names, nicknames, team names, league names, logos, and third-party marks belong to their respective owners. Licensed factual statistics are transformed into original calculations and game outputs. Facts Over Feelings is not affiliated with or endorsed by the NBA, its teams, BALLDONTLIE, or Google.

Do not copy the guides, methodology, or unique game presentation and pass them off as your own.

Limitation of responsibility

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost data or lost profits, arising from use of or inability to use the service. Some places do not allow these limits, in which case they apply only as far as allowed. The games are free; any remaining liability is limited to the amount you paid us to use the site in the last twelve months, which is currently zero.

Changes and contact

These terms may change when features, hosting, advertising, or data practices change. The effective date at the top will be updated. Continued use after a change is acceptance of the new terms. Questions: contact form.
